What Would You Recommend As A Good Healthy Eating Plan?

I’ve always been a good eater, but I’d just like to add more variety into my diet and not really sure of exactly what foods I should be eating. Anything at all that you can share is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much :)

When I am eating healthily I just add loads of veg and fruit to my diet and drink plenty of water. I’ll start the day with lemon in boiled water, then porridge or special k with gogi berries, and eat fruit until lunch, for lunch I’ll have homemade vegetable soup with loads of big vegetables and a tin of tomatoes in, and some piri piri. I will eat lean meat, white fish, salmon, and lots of veg and a sweet potato for tea. I don’t eat that badly when I am not being healthy, I find when I do eat healthy it isn’t totally tasteless and boring either as I love food. If you want to spice up fish or chicken add a homemade ratatouille with lots of flavor. There are loads of healthy alternatives to favorite foods, for a sweet treat I like a meringue nest with lots of fruit. I know you just want to be healthier, but if you feel like being naughty heres some lower fat ideas from normal naughty meals on the following website under recipes http://www.cookyourselfthin.co.uk

I would say that the GI diet is great, i lost a stone!
The food is all really nice, and it introduced me to some more exotic and exciting food too.
    Hope that helps!

a balance diet is the best way to eat healthily, make sure you eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, some protein, carbohydrates, not too many fatty foods, don’t eat a lot of sugary foods, or drink too much alcohol.

Right now my favorite healthy foods are chicken soup and chicken or tofu and vegetable stir fry. Salad with grilled chicken and a small amount oil & vinegar dressing is a healthy meal. For health and energy there should be less refined sugars and more fruits natural sugars instead.A good way to eat chocolate is to get the dark with less sugar in it and eat dried cranberries with it instead of chocolate loaded with sugar. To make chicken soup sautee slices of garlic and chopped onion in olive oil leave it slightly under done pour organic chicken broth in a big pot add enough water to cook everything in . Add garlic and onions add raw diced chicken, kale green chopped and washed, celery chopped, fresh grated ginger, ground nutmeg, salt ,pepper, sliced carrots, boil until chicken and kale is cooked. at the end put in some whole grain pasta noodles. break them up or use macoroni. I eat my soup with hot chili paste. This is good to ward off colds. Make stir fry the same way with garlic and onion grated ginger, sauteed first in olive oil and next add the broccoli, carrots, celery, fresh basil, chicken, edeme,or any vegetables desired, napa cabbage, bean sprouts on high heat and stir it around for a couple of minutes so it does not blacken. It should still be crunchy. Some other good things are smart balance peanut butter, For a snack, crunchy is best. Silk light soy milk is good. Drink plenty of water. When you eat bread it should be whole grain. Also frozen fruits like blueberries are just as healthy as fresh ones.

I like vegetables, legumes, fruits, and whole grains as much as possible. I try to keep fats and sugars at a minimum. And though I do not eat meat or seafood very regularly, when I do it is organic (meat) or wild (seafood). I eat very little junk food,
only kettle cooked potato chips or dark chocolate M&M’s are my weakness on a rare occasion. And I never ever eat fast-food.
When eating out I do not eat at or support corporate
restaurant chains, whether they are McDonald’s or an up-scale eatery. I prefer locally and privately owned eateries.
I also try to eat as locally as possible, but do not deny myself food that is imported from another state or country.
I try to eat as much organic as possible. Though it can be prohibitively expensive.

I wouldn’t recommend any plan, just a balanced diet like the food pyramid you can look up on the internet and some treats like chocolates, cakes, etc in moderation. To add more variety I would just look at some cook books to try something new.

A balanced diet with exercise, a little bit of what you fancy won’t hurt you.
