First of all you are not overweight. Consider it a growth spurt where your body will put on natural weight. You should look at good sources of protein that fit withing being a vegetarian, such as eggs, unless you are a vegan. do you eat regularly? do you exercise? All of this plays a role in weight gain with a growing body. Have you had a period yet? These are all things to consider.

First, stop being vegetarian. It's one of the unhealthiest diets I've ever seen.
If you really don't want to eat meat, at least load up on eggs and low-fat dairy and other sources of protein. Keep your starches to a minimum and watch your calories. Eggs, low-fat dairy, nuts... tuna even. Nothing is better than meat when it comes to balancing out your diet, however.
Cut back the starches.

Make sure you have a balance of everything, not too much. If you have lost your metabolism don't each that much, have about ( ) this length of each on your plate, make sure it is colorful. You don't want a lot of white either. Remember though, not lot of food. Also try to work out at the gym. No crunches though and make sure you don't eat before you go, eat after you go,

Starting to eat meat again sounds like the logical answer - if you were a healthy weight before and now you're not then thats what I would do.
Vegetarians are never as healthy as normal eaters - they will tell you otherwise, but it's true. You also run other health risks like anemia. Because you are taking in less protein your body will be less toned if you are a girl or muscular if you are a guy. Meat also is important for natural hormone levels.

you're nowhere near overweight, firstly. At 14, your body isn't done developing, and gaining a few poundsis totally normal and healthy. Having made my case that you have no reason whatsoever to loose weight, carbs are probably an issue. If you're filling the gaps left by lean meat proteins with carbs, than you're not only going to gain some pounds, but you are also not nourishing yourself correctly.
do some research, look up some veggie meal ideas and what sorts of things you need to insert into your diet to replace the meat you cut out. this can be done online, or you could find yourself a good vegetarian cookbook.
don't focus on the weight loss, though (FYI i'm right about the same height and weight) focus on getting the nutrients you need to feel strong.

I am a vegetarian, and I have not gained or lost any weight because I'm doing it the right way. You are probably too young to realize the essential nutrition you need to be a vegetarian, so you probably should go back to eating meat, unless you wise up and read a book on vegetarianism or something.
Eat healthier! Take supplements, maybe protein shakes for convenience.
Feel free to message me for more tips.
Edit: To all those people who are saying Vegetarianism is "one of the worst diets you've ever seen" then you're obviously retarded. By your standards, a diet is probably some fad, and vegetarianism/veganism is a lifestyle and a Perfectly healthy way of living.
If you don't think it's healthy, you're doing it wrong.
Anemia? Is that your only argument? First off, I've been a vegetarian for half my life, and I am healthier now than I have ever been, that's including never having anemia.
If I don't feel like I'm getting enough of my nutrients, even though it's SO easy, I can take a supplement. Ever hear of protein shakes? Tofu? Veggie burgers? The list goes on.
If you wanna have battle of the food choices, then I would definitely say Vegetarians and Vegans are healthier. Low cholesterol = no heart attack. The math is simple enough for me.
People, read a book or two before you pass judgement on something you obviously know nothing about.
