How Long Before Baby Hamsters Start Eating Normal Diet?

I had my first litter of dwarf hammies recently. They’re 8 days old today. I had a couple questions.
First, when can I expect them to start eating the normal food? I looked this up but all the answers seemed to be inconsistent and so I was wondering if anyone could tell me from personal experience.
Second, when should I stick the mom’s exercise wheel back in the cage? Is it after she’s weaned them?
Thank you in advance!

I’ve never taken the wheel out of the cage personally so I don’t know much about that. I do know that they’ll start to nibble more and more on the regular food after a few weeks.. depending on the type of hamster you have. I breed dwarf hamsters and they take around 20ish days before they’re running around and nibbling on things. The mother hamster will also spend time wandering around the cage without the babies so I’d assume the wheel is ok for her to play with then.

depends on when the baby hammy was weaned from the mothers milk. usually around 6 weeks or so they will start eating solid food as their primary diet
