Most diet candies contain lots of sugar alcohols, which are no-calorie sweeteners. In large amounts they can cause gastrointestinal upset. If you’re going to splurge on a diet, don’t eat diet candies. They’re just a way for companies to make money off dieters. Treat yourself to a small portion of the real thing – - tastes better and won’t upset your tummy!
