OK, I think you will like my suggestion in the long run. You should do some weight lifting. I think your pic/avatar suggests your a woman, so I need to mention that you will not grow man muscles. The difference of a masculine and feminine muscle is that men have a lot more testosterone, which causes fast and bulky muscle growth. It will take longer for it to take effect, than cardiovascular workouts, but it will actually be a much more forgiving way to lose once it begins to take effect.
The Science: -1lbs of fat is 3,500calories per day
-every additional 1lb of muscle burns an extra 200 calories per day
-It takes at least 3 days of lazy muscular inactivity to even begin to lose muscle to atrophy. People who use cardio can lose quickly, but if you couldn’t get to work out for 3 days, then you still won’t miss any calorie burning, because the muscle you already gained is doing it’s job.
If your not familiar to lifting, then I would suggest a beginner class, or a trainer, to teach you the basics. If you go the trainer route, you won’t need them for too long, I would suggest a month at most.
Tips: ALWAYS stretch, before and after any lifts. Never work the same muscle groups for 2 days in a row, with very few exceptions. Abs are one of those exceptions, there are others, but as a begging rule leave 1 day rest between working any of the same muscle group.
most people do Legs and Abs every other day, and on the opposite days do Upper body(arms and shoulders) and Abs. The only diet based advice that I have is to always get enough protein, because it is required for muscles to deal with, and then benefit from the exercise. Vitamins are a must, because your muscles need them to properly, and efficiently function and form. You don’t need a protein shake, but it will give you a healthy, and dependable source of protein.>I use them, and if you try it you should get the powdered form from a GNC, or other health store.>I suggest Chocolate flavor, because Vanilla, Strawberry, and all the other flavors taste the most odd(fake).
Sorry about the length, and the general massiveness of my answer, which was originally much shorter.

Have you considered using a diet that includes cheat days?
It can be mentally draining to keep up will power forever. Most people cannot do it and they ultimately end up binging because their body is trying to get them “back on track” to consuming the calories and food types that it is used to receiving.
Diets that include pre-scheduled cheat days allow for a mental break from the day to day grind of the diet, plus they will help you stay motivated to eat well knowing that a day (or two) where you can eat literally anything you want is just around the corner.
Most people freak about having cheat days thinking that they will gain all of the weight back but in reality a well designed cheat day will actually help you lose some weight. With the increase in calories on the cheat day the body will assume that all has returned to normal and it will release the grip it had on your metabolism. This will keep your fat burning furnace operating in high gear instead of the normal “down regulating” that often happens to the metabolism after long bouts with low calorie dieting.
There are a number of diets that have built in cheat days. If you do your research you will find some for sure.

The formula for losing weight is simple – consume less and exercise more often – the difficulties arise when we actually try to put that into operation! There are a lot of opportunities to fail in the big wide world don’t you think?! I found some excellent advice by following the site in the box below, they have a lot of instruction, I lost 10 pounds by following their techniques.
