Anyone Know A Gym And Healthy Eating Routine?
I restarted the gym again today, and now i’m looking to start eating a balanced diet and do a routine at the gym to help my fitness. Basically my issue is that i have put on a beer belly, and i NEED to get rid of it, so i’m looking for the best workout at the gym to lose weight, and the best food to eat. Any help would be great!
Sorry not an answer, but i want to find out as well so i shall scope your other answers you get sorry fella
Depending on how fit you are. Cardio burns more calories. Running on the treadmill, cross-trainer, rower, and bike. All of these will get your heart pumping. You need to start of slowly to begin with. Have a word with one of the gym instructers. They can design a programme for you to help you with your weight loss.
If you hope, as you say to lose weight by exercise, keep it in mind that you will only lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume. To lose a pound, you have to burn through exercise or life functions about 3,500 calories. So you will absolutely need to combine exercise with a healthy diet.
Try keeping junk foods, ready made processed meals you buy in the supermarket, alcohol and takeaways meals to an absolute minimum. These are high in refined sugar and full of saturated fat. They add on those extra pounds.
Try to include more wholefoods into your diet. Such as brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta, beans & pulses. These are high in fibre and will keep you feeling fuller for longer.
Drink plenty of water, (not beer). Reduce your portion sizes down if you can (you evetually get use to eating smaller portions). Snack on fresh fruit only. Stop eating when you feel full.
I know this works. 11 months ago I decided to eat healthy and exercise. I managed to lose 48lbs in just over 6 months. But to keep the weight off you have to carry on with healthy eating and regular exercise.
Good Luck.
