Is This Diet Healthy And Will It Work?
I am in a bit of a rush to lose a bit of weight, although I dont expect to lose too much right away, I want a good start into what I hope will be a healthy eating plan.
For the next 5 days, my diet will mainly consist of plenty of green tea, eggs, celery and many more fruits and vegetables. I will not stick to this strict diet for more than 5 days, I just want to kick start my weight loss.
Any tips and advice would be great.
I have tried every diet and detox you can think of and whatever weight I lost, I immediately gained!
I now follow the Zone Diet 6 days of the week with one day off where i allow myself to eat everything I’ve deprived myself of! (sometimes upto 4,000calories a day)!
4 days of the week I eat only favourable carbs (lean meat /fish,salad, fruit etc), 2 days of the week I allow myself unfavourable carbs (pasta, bread, even chocolate) and 1 day I eat what I like!
You can find food allowance for the Zone Diet if you google crossfit journal 21! Download the PDF article on the top right of the page! This will tell you unfavourable & favourable carbs, and how much of each you can eat!
I have lost on average 2lbs every week!
I also do interval and resistance training 3/4 times per week!
This diet was recommended to be by a personal trainer in my gym!!
well depending on how much u weigh etc it not good to lose to much weight at first cause if you do it will U lose muscle and that not a good idea at all!!If you lose that well then when you eat again you gain more weigh back.So aim to lose 2lbs a .The first week will always be more since it is water!
So short term one like this won’t be so bad but just keep a good diet when you come out of it.Good luck!
